Verdigris Necklace

Copper in Chrysocolla, hessonite, oxidized sterling silver.

This incredible stone speaks for itself - with unbelievable movement, the pattern of color meanders like verdigris.

This stone is from the Copper Queen Mine of Bisbee, Arizona, which closed in the 1970s. A lapidary recently cut an old rock that came from the mine before it closed, and I was lucky enough to get some little pieces of Bisbee’s rich mining history.

Necklace is adjustable from 18" to 20" with a 1-1/4" by 1-7/8" pendant.
